For the opportunities to serve others which have arisen in the past few weeks.
We are working very hard to balance our vision for serving our clients & each other…

We are included as “essential” and will continue to have staff in the office from 8-6 Monday through Friday at least through April 15th.

We will continue to be available by phone (252-443-3124) and via email. Everyone in our office has the same email ending (@overmancpa.com) pick the staff member you need and add the ending (ie Rebecca@overmancpa.com).

We are daily adjusting our priorities to focus on the work that is most critical for our clients during this time. For some this may be the filing of their tax return to get a much needed refund on its way. For others this may be updated cash projections or financial reports for loan/ grant applications. We are also fielding a lot of calls pertaining to the law changes and getting needed information so clients can continue to operate their businesses.

We also have our own health to maintain and proper rest is a part of this. We are trying to reduce our efforts at work just slightly to allow rest for our staff while they are also providing care for their children/ families at home needing additional support during this time.
We are all in the same uncertain boat and we are here for you…

We know people are stressed and struggling to make ends meet and we welcome the opportunity to pray for and serve you

We know employers that are drowning, have had to lay-off employees, and frankly don’t know what to do. If we can send needed information or help be a sounding board for your company, we are here for you.

We all know families that are struggling to balance work and homeschooling and not going stir-crazy! Us too, so we can trade notes!

We Covet Your Patience...
This experience has changed so much already and will undoubtedly change everyone. We covet your patience as we know the timeliness of us completing your work may be longer than expected. Our new “end of tax season” is July 15 th, and we’ll continue working on returns in the order received. If you have a situation for which we need to adjust that priority, please reach out and let us know. If we have already filed your return and you need a copy of it, please allow us to send you a digital copy instead of coming to get your tax package during this time. As NC begins to “shelter in place,” we encourage you to use our secure client portal rather than coming out to drop off/pick-up information.
