Sonya joined Overman & Parks, CPA, PA in June 2024.

Sonya received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1988.

 

She has many years of experience in both public and managerial accounting. Sonya has served in several local organizations including the Nash-Rocky Mount Rotary Club and Tri-county Industries. She also enjoys serving at Redeemer Church, where she and her husband, Russ, are covenant members.

Sonya is originally from Williamston, NC but has lived in the Rocky Mount area since 2002. Her favorite activity is spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, Bryson and Griffin.
